Spencer W. Kimball (Ch 1 Teachings of Presidents of the Church)

The Lord will not translate one's good hopes and desires and intentions into works. Each of us must do that for himself. (He changed his motto from "Do it" to "Do it now" to emphasize the importance of avoiding procrastination.)

The quotation comes from the first chapter in his volume of Teachings of the Presidents of the Church, chapter 1 "To live with him someday."
The "do it" to "do it now" comes from a talk given by Elder Donald L. Hallstrom given in October 2007 General Conference in Priesthood session.
I put them together because it's important that we translate our good intentions into action NOW if we ever are going to do it. Really we are what we are doing right now; we are never what we will do if we are not doing something right now.
