D&C 5:7

7. Behold, if they will not believe my words, they would not believe you, my servant Joseph, if it were possible that you should show them all these things which I have committed unto you.

D&C 4:1-7

1. Now behold, a marvelous work is about to come forth among the children of men.
2. Therefore, oh ye that embark in the service of God see that ye serve him with all your might mind and strength, that ye may stand blameless before God at the last day.
3. Therefore, if ye have desires to serve God ye are called to the work.
4. For behold, the field is white all ready to harvest, and lo, he that thrusteth in his sickle with his might, the same layeth up in store that he perisheth not, but bringeth salvation to his soul.
5. And faith, hope, charity, and love, with an eye single to the glory of God, qualify him for the work.
6. Remember faith, virtue, knowledge, temperance, patience, brotherly kindness, godliness, charity, humility, diligence.
7. Ask and ye shall receive, knock and it shall be opened unto you, amen.

D&C 3:4

4. For although a man may have many revelations, and have power to do many mighty works; yet if he boasts in his own strength, and sets at naught the counsel of God, and follows after the dictates of his own will and carnal desires, he must fall, and incure the vengence of a just God upon him.

D&C 2:1-3

1. Behold, I will reveal unto you the priesthood, by the hand of Elijah the prophet, before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.
2. And he shall plant in the hearts of the children the promises made to the fathers, and the hearts of the children shall turn to their fathers.
3. If it were not so, the whole earth would be utterly wasted at his coming.

D&C 1:37-38

37. Search these commandments, for they are true and faithful, and the prophesies and promises which are in them shall all be fulfilled.
38. What I the Lord have spoken, I have spoken, and I excuse not myself and though the heavens and the earth shall pass away, my word shall not pass away, but shall all be fulfilled, whether by mine own voice or by the voice of my servants, it is the same.

D&C 1:16

16. They seek not the Lord to establish his righteousness, but every man walketh in his own way, and after the image of his own god, whose image is in the likeness of the world, and whose substance is that of an idol, which waxeth old and shall perish in Babylon, even Babylon the great, which shall fall.

Moroni 7:45-48

45. And Charity suffereth long, and is kind, and envieth not, and is not puffed up, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil, and rejoiceth not in iniquity but rejoiceth in the truth, beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
46. Wherefore, my beloved brethren, if ye have not charity ye are nothing, for charity never faileth, wherefore, cleave unto charity, which is the greatest of all, for all things must fail.
47. But charity is the pure love of Christ, and it endureth forever, and whoso is found posessed of it at the last day, it shall be well with him.
48. Wherefore, my beloved brethren, pray unto the father with all the energy of heart that you may be filled with this love which he hath bestowed upon all who are true followers of his son, Jesus Christ, that ye may become the sons of God, that when he shall appear we shall be like him for we shall see him as he is, that we may have this hope, that we may be purified even as he is pure, amen.
