D&C 78:19

19. And he who receiveth all things with a thankful heart shall be made glorious; and the things of this earth shall be added unto him, even a hundred fold, yea, more.

Mosiah 5:7

7. And now, because of the covenant which ye have made ye shall be called the children of Christ, his sons, and his daughters; for behold, this day he hath spiritually begotten you; for ye say that your hearts are changed through faith on his name, therefore, ye are born of him, and have become his sons and his daughters.

D&C 58:26-29

26. For behold, it is not meet that I should command in all things; for he that is compelled in all things, the same is a slothful and not a wise servant; wherefore, he receiveth no reward.
27. Verily I say, men should be anxiously engaged in a good cause, and do many things of their own free will, and bring to pass much righteousness;
28. For the power is in them, wherein they are agents unto themselves. And inasmuch as men do good, they shall in no wise lose their reward.
29. But he that doeth not anything until he is commanded, and receiveth a commandment with doubtful heart, and keepeth it with slothfulness, the same is damned.

Hebrews 11:1

1. Now faith is the substance (assurance JST) of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Ether 12:6

6. And now, I Moroni, would speak somewhat concerning these things; I would show unto the world that faith is things which are hoped for and not seen; wherefore, dispute not because ye see not, for ye receive not witness until after the trial of your faith.

Alma 32:21

21. And now as I said concerning faith-faith is not to have a perfect knowledge of things; therefore if ye have faith ye hope for things which are not seen, which are true.
