this is Job's response to the death of his children, if you just read the part that is usually quoted at the end of vs. 21 i think it sounds overly indifferent to the tragedy. To me the list in verse twenty implies that he went through plenty of suffering before he came to his conclusion--even with that, i don't think that his statement was made without tears.
